Many people ask us how we build an ice rink. "You put water in it and hope it freezes?" No, it's not like that ...

The basis for a good ice rink is a floor that is completely level. For this we work together with external partners who lay the floor to size, whether or not covered with a tarpaulin or in a large tent.
Using L-profiles, we lay the foundation for your ice rink in the shape that you desire. This surface is then covered with a waterproof tarpaulin so that a gigantic bathtub is created into which the water will flow later.
We now place the boardings and armrests around the ice rink, so that the spectators can also watch the spectacle on the ice rink in comfort. You can choose between wooden walls, plexiglass, or a combination of both.
Now that your ice rink is gradually taking shape, we will place our ice mats here that will be connected to each other. The glycol water will flow through this so that the water on your ice rink freezes and you obtain a thick, solid layer of ice.
Our cooling installation is linked to the ice rink behind the scenes. This cools the glycol water to -12 ° C (this water does not freeze below 0 ° C due to the water / glycol mixture). This glycol water is rushed through the ice mats, allowing to cool rapidly.
Then we fill the ice rink with water. This water will gradually freeze because the glycol water in the ice mats withdraws the heat. As soon as all the water has been frozen you have a nice thick layer of ice and the skating pleasure can begin.
